IT Department
Technology at AISL is more than computers — it is creativity, problem-solving, innovation, and real-world learning.
Technology at AISL
Our IT program serves students from Pre-School to Grade 9, helping them develop digital skills and confidence in an increasingly connected world. We focus on hands-on learning, project-based activities, and responsible use of technology.
💻 What We Teach
👨💻
Coding & Programming
Students learn the fundamentals of computer science through Scratch, Code.org, Python basics, and block-based programming. They learn how to think logically, solve problems, and create digital projects.
🤖
Robotics & Engineering
Using Arduino kits, sensors, MaKey MaKey boards, and basic electronics, students design and build simple machines, interactive systems, and real engineering projects.
🖨️
3D Design & Making
Tinkercad is used across grades to help students design 3D models, create prototypes, and explore engineering concepts.
🌐
Digital Literacy
Students learn typing, safe online behavior, internet research skills, Google Workspace tools, presentation skills, and digital communication.
🚀 What Students Are Working On

🏆 Highlights & Achievements
Participation in the Science/STEAM Fair: Our students showcased creative projects, including models made with Arduino, demonstrating innovation and hands-on problem solving.
Partnership with American Corner: This collaboration gives students access to virtual reality headsets, MaKey MaKey boards, and Arduino kits, allowing them to design and build exciting tech projects.
Transforming the IT Lab into a Makerspace: We are upgrading our IT lab to a modern makerspace, where students can explore coding, robotics, 3D design, and hands-on electronics in a creative environment.
🛠️ IT Systems & Support
Our IT department supports the entire school community with reliable technology infrastructure:
Google Workspace
Chromebook Management
School Wi-Fi
Printing Systems
We aim to keep technology running smoothly so teaching and learning can thrive.
