When We Provide Additional Support

We step in when students need extra help beyond classroom strategies, particularly when a student shows concerns in:

  • Behavioral challenges

  • Social development

  • Emotional regulation

Our Process: Teacher-Student Partnership

Before referring for additional support, our teachers:

  • ✅ Provide individual 1:1 support in class

  • ✅ Implement strategies for 2-4 weeks with documentation

  • ✅ Communicate regularly with parents about concerns

  • ✅ Monitor assessment data (NWEA MAP, other benchmarks)
