- AISL.SCI.01.G5.02 Draw and label the parts of an atom (electron, proton, neutron, nucleus)
- AISL.SCI.01.G5.03 Investigate relationships between mass, volume, and weight
- AISL.SCI.02. PHYSICAL SCIENCE: Students will demonstrate an understanding of the sources and properties of energy.
- AISL.SCI.02.G5.01 Demonstrate how electrical currents are produced and used.
- AISL.SCI.02.G5.02 Explain the terms wave length, vibration, amplitude, frequency, pitch, and how they relate to sound production
- AISL.SCI.02.G5.03 Describe the behavior of light: it can be reflected, refracted, or absorbed
- AISL.SCI.02.G5.04 Know that heat is often produced as a byproduct when one form of energy is converted to another form
- AISL.SCI.03. PHYSICAL SCIENCE: Students will demonstrate an understanding of forces and motion.
- AISL.SCI.03.G5.01 Determine factors that affect motion, including force, friction, inertia, and momentum
- AISL.SCI.03.G5.02 Investigate the components of the lever systems and pulley systems
- AISL.SCI.03.G5.03 Analyze real-world tools and machines in terms of the simple machines that make them work
- AISL.SCI.04. LIFE SCIENCE: Students will demonstrate an understanding of the structure and function of living systems.
- AISL.SCI.04.G5.01 Identify and describe structures that make up plant and animal cells.
